Vanessa Sexton '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Vanessa Sexton and I am a senior attending Burleson High School in Burleson, Texas and am part of their women’s varsity golf program, graduating year 2021. I am passionate about academics, golf, learning, and being the best person I can be, both on and off the course. I’ve been fortunate to be surrounded by coaches, and team mates while at Burleson which has contributed to my growth as a player and as a person. I know there is no such thing as a perfect golf game, but each day I am driven to get closer to that goal.  I am currently working with a pro to get work towards getting my average lowered. During this process, I am  keeping a positive outlook, and never staying satisfied with the normal way of doing things.  I maintain a 3.8 GPA and am a member of the National Honor Society.  I love to take on new challenges and experiences as a way to further my development as a teammate and a person on and off the field.
