Personal Statement
For my 13th birthday I asked my parents for golf clubs. Until that point I have never tried golfing, but I watched it on TV. I was inspired by the determination and discipline of the players. I started golfing in middle school and then made the varsity golf team my freshman year in high school. I feel like I have progressed tremendously and am working hard to achieve my goals. My career low is an 80, and I am right on the verge of getting into the 70’s and I want to stay there! I am determined and motivated to take my golf career to the next level in college.
