Hope West '19 Recruiting Profile

I started playing in 2015 and aspire to play golf at the collegiate level .  I have a private swing coach and try to see her as often as possible to improve my game, while also working with my high school coach weekly.  Having just started playing a couple of years ago I still have room to improve and work everyday to achieve new goals.  Linda (private coach) will say that I am a very coachable athlete and take direction/criticism very well.  In 2016 I played as a Varsity medalist and advanced to Regionals in Lubbock, Texas.  In 2017 Played on the Varsity team for the fall and spring seasons and placed 3rd in District and advanced to Regionals in Lubbock, Texas once again.  My goals for 2017-2018 season are to place 1st in District and represent myself and my school well at Regionals.

I am currently ranked in the top 20 students of my high school class of over 540, which shows that high academics play an important roll in my high school career.  I plan to continue to excel academically at my future college and throughout life. 

I attend Christ Chapel Bible Church and attend High School Ministry small group whenever possible.  I will be joining Interact Club, which is offered at AHHS and is focused on helping the community.  I am currently a member of the Arlington Heights High School National Honor Society. 

I am a very honest and trustworthy student which caries over into the game of golf.  I am a student who will represent my future University with immense pride and respect.  I am very excited to be entering this new chapter of my life and look forward to speaking with y'all in the near future.
