Ksheera Jalakam '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing golf for 3 years. Since I first stepped onto the golf course I knew that I wanted to be a collegiate golfer. I know that playing college golf will lead me to valuable opportunities to exemplify my  love for the sport. 

I am working hard every day to improve my swing speed, my touch in my short game, and enhance my fundamentals overall.  A big part of my training regiment is also to train my mind to withstand any obstacle that I may encounter on the golf course. I also believe that a big part of golf is being a team leader which involves helping other teammates improve their skills as well. 

I transfer these same values to the classroom, where I study hard to maintain my GPA and class rank. I am also in the process of planning a charity golf tournament in my area in hopes of benefiting others through my passion for golf.  

I want to attend a college where I can push myself  in the classroom and the golf course. I am open to all options and ultimately I would like to  find a college with the highest academic and golf competition level possible.
