I am Lindy Patterson, motivated student and avid golfer. Currently a senior at McKinney High School, my class rank is third (GPA 4.82) out of 585 students. AP classes consume my schedule and I run with my cross-country team before school and play golf with my team after school.
Throughout my high school career, opportunities to participate in numerous golf tournaments have arisen and I have been blessed with much success. I am currently an active member of the AJGA, TJGT, Legends Junior Tour and All-American Tour, North Texas PGA and USGA. A regional qualifier for 3 years, and state qualifier for one, I was the district 10 5A champion in 2015, (75-75 Hurricane Creek Anna) and the runner-up in 2014 and 2016. My high school team was 2nd in district in 2014 and 2015 and we won the district championship in 2016. I was on the runner-up team at the regional tournament in April 2016, and 3rd individual and placed 12th at the state tournament.
I look forward to the success my senior year will bring on the golf course and in the classroom. My goal is to continue to grow both academically and athletically in college and I would love to play golf at the college level. I am very dedicated to the sport and will work as hard as possible to be the best golfer, teammate, and student I can be. I feel that I can grow and succeed on the golf course while still keeping academics a priority.
