Personal Statement

Thank you all for your encouragement, support and interest. I have found my College home at Berry College. I hope to see you on one of the many courses I play in the future and wish you all the best. Thanks again for investing in the future of this great game !

When I was three and my dad handed me my first golf club, I didn’t realize how much I’d grow to love the game of golf. Through the years I’ve continued to improve both the physical and mental aspects of my game, learning when to play it safe and when to take risks. Golf has taught me patience, sportsmanship, and how to bounce back after a disappointment. Golf has also given me the opportunity to meet tons of great people with similar interests.

In regard to colleges, I’m looking for a school that benefits me both academically and athletically. I’m interested in having a medical career, although I’ve yet to decide between radiology and pharmacology. I realize that pursuing a medical career while playing college golf will be difficult, but due to the organizational skills and study habits that I have developed while balancing extracurriculars, athletics and academics, I believe that I am up to the challenge.
