Niva Sainju '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently a senior at Lake Braddock Secondary School. I work and try to give everything I do 100% whether it's in athletics, academics, or even doing the chores for my mom. Golf and school are very important me. They are my number one priority. I have been playing golf since I was 12 years old. I have been playing in numerous amounts of tournaments.  I've experience great amounts of failures but they've helped gain victories. I practice everyday after school and on weekends. I've been on the varsity golf team for 4 years now. Since being apart of the team, I have helped my team make its way to being in the top 5 teams in Regionals two years back to back. Being on the team made me realize how much I love playing in a team and how much I love competing. The mental side of golf is very crucial to me. It can ruin a shot for me even though I know I have the ability to hit it perfectly. Golf has influenced my mental game greatly and has been beneficial. I hope to continue to play golf in college and be a part of a team because it has become a big part of my life and I love it!
