July 2013Personal Statement
I just completed my final high school golf season and was named to the Virginia All-State (Co-ed) team, Virginia Girls All State team, Northern Virginia All Region team, and Patriot All District team for 2014. I ended my career winning the 6A Co-ed Virginia State Golf Championship as the medalist in Richmond, VA (shooting 70-72 (E)), leading my team to its first State Championship, and most recently was runner-up at Belle Haven Country Club playing in the VA Girls State tournament (76-74 (+6). Prior to the State tournaments, I played in the Northern Region tournament and came in 6th place to make the All Region team (71-72 (-1)). I am currently working in my offseason on honing my short game skills, strengthening my core, and preparing to play in USGA and amateur tournaments next year.

- I am currently working with a personal trainer through the Country Club of Fairfax to work on core strength and power. We meet twice a week for two hours and do yoga stretching to work on stretching my back and leg muscles.
