Natalie Quella '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Natalie Quella and I am in the class of '24 at Neenah High School in Neenah, WI. I have been playing golf from an early age, thanks to the encouragement from my older brothers and my dad, and began competitively playing my freshman year. Through hard work and dedication, I earned varsity letters in each of my golf seasons as well as my past basketball season, which I have also been playing since I was little. Because of my commitment to both sports, I have acquired physical strength from the lifting and conditioning and mental strength from the trial and error, which continues to benefit my game on the course. This past winter I have worked with two swing coaches in order to make my swing more consistent for the coming season. Through this, I have become very confident with my irons and developed the ability to use my strength to benefit my driver, which happens to be my favorite club. The past two seasons, my team has been one competition away from the State tournament, which has created a desire in me to achieve that once in my high school career. The competition in Wisconsin is tough, which makes the successes we have as a team that much more exciting. In my collegiate years, I plan on continuing to grow as an individual, but more importantly, to grow as a teammate and a leader, which I can begin this fall as I enter my senior year as our team captain. I am looking forward to what this next season will bring and how I can become a better player, while also encouraging those around me to improve at the same time.
