Violet Risinger '24 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Violet Risinger, I am a level 8 gymnast from Anchorage Alaska, I am in the 11th grade at South Anchorage High School. I have been doing gymnastics since I was 4 years old and the sport has played a huge role in my life. The thing I love the most about the sport is the feeling of setting goals and getting to improve. My favorite event is floor because I love all the options and all the new tumbling passes you can learn and perfect. Some other things I love to do besides gymnastics is spending time with my family, listening to music, and spending time outside, especially when it’s sunny. Another thing I love is spending time with my dogs and any other animal I can encounter. I have always loved animals, which is why I want to  pursue a career in the veterinary field, and I feel that a good place to start is with health sciences.
