My name is Madison Sowonik and I am 16 year old gymnast living in the suburbs of Illinois. As a competitive gymnast my ultimate goal is to be part of a competitive collegiate gymnastics team which will help mold me for my future aspirations in sports medicine helping competitive athletes with injuries as well as mental, physical and nutritional guidance. Beginning as an athlete at a young age my interest's included competitive gymnastics, volleyball, tumbling, and dance . Some of my hobbies include running, working out, water & outdoor sports. As an athlete I have found good nutrition, positive mental health and strong physical health to be a necessity in being an all around great athlete. I inspire to be on a team with supportive teammates and coaches. I look for an environment that is hard working and focused yet maintains a family bond. As a teammate I have learned I bring positivity, compassion, and motivation to my teammates. I also have great time management and organization as an athlete as well as a student and also do well under pressure. After graduating from college I hope to work with competitive athletes to build their mental, physical, and nutritional mindset to keep them successful in their career!
