My name is Liliana Foote, Class of 2022, and I am a Level 10 gymnast at Precision Gymnastics in Bayville, NJ. I have been doing gymnastics classes since I was a toddler, and competitive gymnastics since I was 5 years old. When I first stepped foot into the gym I knew this was the sport for me; I never wanted to leave the gym. When I was younger, gymnastics was just a fun activity, but as a got older and started doing competive gymnastics, I realized that I was serious about this sport and that you had to work hard. My goals for the future are to become an NCAA collegiate gymnast. Ever since I was little, that was my dream. To start off, it was continuing my love for the sport throughout my college experience. It also looked like so much fun to compete with a team that was like a family. I have had to overcome many obtacles throughtout my gymnastics career such as my 2 elbow surgeries, but they only made me stronger and more motivated to reach my goals. Some of my unique characteristics and skills that I have is that I am a leader and love being on a team. I always cheer on my teamates and have a close bond with them. Although gymnastics is very important to me, school always comes first. I have been in Honors and AP classes throughout my highschool career; my acedemics is something I value and do not take lightly.
