The love I have for gymnastics is unexplainable. I have been competing since I was 5 and I have loved every minute of it. I am so grateful for all the experiences and opportunities I have had so far that have helped me to become the gymnast and person I am today. I still have room to grow and I am determined to become the best gymnast I can be.
I have many qualities that I can bring to any team. I am a team player and part of the reason I love gymnastics is being part of a team. Being a part of something and being able to connect and grow with other people is something I have always loved about the sport. I was even awarded the sportsmanship award at my sectional competition. I love supporting, helping, and celebrating others. I am also determined. I have had many injuries and have even had to work my way back from surgery. I had a Tenex procedure done on my right knee in order to alleviate pain from severe patellar tendonitis. I had my surgery and after rehabbing I was back on the competition floor 7 weeks later.
I have been able to maintain a 4.0+ GPA while practicing and competing for club and high school gymnastics. I am looking to major in physical therapy and want a school that would be able to offer financial support while allowing me to continue to do the sport that I love.
