Personal Statement

I always knew that gymnastics would bring me amazing opportunities. I am now happy to say that little Alexia now has the chance to have her dreams fulfilled of being a d1 gymnast, hopefully on a scholarship. Besides gymnastics though, ever since I was six years old, I knew one thing and one thing only: I would be the greatest orthopedic surgeon people have seen.

In the gym I love cheering on my teammates, and at practice you'll always hear me being everyone's biggest supporter. I'm known as the team mom who gives everyone advice and pep talks as needed. I also love coaching and helping create a safe and improved environment for the next generation of athletes.

Another important thing about me is that I'm very in touch with my religion and culture as well as family is very important to me. My mother being Belarusian and my father being from the Middle East, is Armenian. I always love to brag a little bit that my first language was Armenian. I then later learned Russian and English when I started kindergarten, it was the first time I was told to speak english. I now speak all three languages fluently, as well as learning Spanish.

I love to travel and learn new things, in the gym and out, as well as experiment with any skills and combinations. I'm always open to learning something new.
