Personal Statement

   My name is Gracie Ortega, a 2026 Goaltender. I started playing hockey four years ago when COVID struck. I worked until I made it out of development and onto a AA team. I am currently on the Kachinas 16u AA team. I have learned that I can make a difference on the ice through teamwork, commitment, and perseverance. I’m looking for a school that will support my academic and athletic needs to reach my goal of working as a veterinarian. I am respectful and coachable, I am told I have an admirable work ethic, and my strong frame of mind impacts my teammates. I know I can make a great impact on your team and that I will work hard to earn that place.
