Personal Statement

I have always been interested in continuing playing ice hockey to the post-secondary level. I have learned to skate since I was 2 years old and I have played with well-known clubs at the rep level for Vancouver Thunderbirds & Burnaby Winter Club. Since a young age, I have consistently played with the boys' ice hockey teams even until it was full-contact hockey.  I also experienced girls' ice hockey during the spring club seasons as well as playing girls' ice hockey at Sir Winston Churchill winning the championship in 3 of my 5 years there.  I am a very hard-working and academically driven person. I received Deans' Honour during the Spring 2021 Semester and my goal is to continuously maintain a high GPA, along with training at a high level for ice hockey.
