Maddy Glotfelty H...Personal Statement
Lead by example, not through harsh words, or boastful tales. If they can’t see how good you are without you telling them, then you’re not as great as you think. This is a philosophy I have followed from a very young age. If you want a team member that leads by example, one who is committed to being the best hockey player and the best person she can be, then add me to your future roster.
I have been playing hockey for as long as I can remember, it has always been a part of my life. At eight, when we moved from Alaska to Colorado, one of the things that came with us was our love of hockey. My family built the girls’ program in our town, even while we played on the boy's teams. These experiences combined with my passion for the sport have developed me in to a hockey player worth having on your team.
I am fast, and I can score. I have been leading my girls’ teams and leagues in scoring for the last couple of years. As a junior in high school, I am reaching out to express my interest in playing college hockey in 2023.
