I started out as a figure skater. However, when I watched my younger sister in the learn to play hockey program I became fascinated with ice hockey. The next week (at age 10) I joined my sister in the program and never looked back!
Even though I started hockey later then most, through hard work, determination and the guidance of great hockey coaches (whom I am very grateful to), I not only caught up but began to excel. I have become a strong, skilled player with a high Hockey IQ. I continue to enjoy being challenged and learning new things to improve my game. My coaches describe me as dependable, consistent and very coachable. They know they can count on me to get the job done.
I strive to do my best in everything I do. I take advanced classes and have a 4.0 GPA. I received highest honors in all four quarters last year and am in the top 5% of my class. I am a three sport athlete and am the Captain of my JV soccer team. I am also a member of FFA and NSHSS. When not playing sports or attending classes I play the violin and volunteer at a local
