I use hockey to not only stay in shape and continue my athletic lifestyle, But to express myself. I have always been associated with some kind of sport. I started as a swimmer, and tennis in the summer, I moved on to basketball, still doing tennis in the summer. I was to short for basketball so I briefly played soccer quickly moving on to my first learn to play for hockey at my local rink in sixth grade. I fell in love with the sport so I tried out for the first winter season of my rinks girls team. I made the team making me part of the original Lady Patriots and the youngest player on the U16 team. I moved on to play my two bantam years with the U14 LA, and U14 UA Potomac Patriots. Along with playing i found great joy in coaching the earn to play sessions at my rink eventually I became a extra coach for the U12 high performance team practices at my rink. I find great joy in being on the ice it doesn't matter if its coaching, just skating, or a championship game. I also love the wholesomeness of a healthy lifestyle which is part of the reason I want to major in personal training.
