Dear Women's Hockey Coach,
My name is Hannah Walbrun and I have been skating and playing ice hockey since the age of 12. Because I started "late" I have had to catch up to my teammates by not only learning how to skate but also learning how to play hockey. My parents have been very supportive and have gotten me countless private coaches to help me develop. I love this sport! I want to play in college and also have a career in the ice hockey industry. I am considering earning a degree in sports management and then becoming a sports attorney.
I had a setback in July 2020 as I was in a bad car accident and I had to play the best I could even though my left knee was in severe pain. Nine months later my orthopedic surgeon finally decided to do surgery on my left knee to find out why I was in severe pain. During surgery, he discovered my injury was due to the car accident. So rehabilitating from knee surgery prevented me from being on the ice for some time but I am back at it 100%!
Thank you for looking at my profile and watching my videos. I am looking to play for a team where the coach sees that my skills are needed on the team and wants to help me improve as a player. I work hard at practices and have a mind for understanding plays.
I love meeting people and making new friends. I like to consider myself to have a bubbly personality and I can't wait to meet with you.
Thank you,
Hannah Walbrun
