My family has always encouraged me to set the bar high and work hard to achieve my goals. One of my many personal goals includes playing collegiate lacrosse, I began playing lacrosse in 2017 as a freshman. I was overjoyed to make the team and ecstatic to find not only was I on the varsity team, but was privileged to be one of the only freshman starters. Throughout the season my coach, Linsey Hoskins a Division 2 lacrosse player who attended Saint Leo University in Dade City, Florida; inspired me to push myself not only on the field but in the classroom. Lacrosse has given me some valuable life lessons though out the season, from leadership and guidance to tactical skills used both on and off the field. The skill set I have taken from this past season has set me on a path to become a better person and lacrosse player. At the team banquet I was given the award for the most team spirit, that was a huge honor. My excitement for the game is shown every day as I share motivational quotes and rally classmates to come out and support our team. I am often times over animated with excitement during practices, warmups and games. During the season I started out as a defender, my coach allowed me to explore new positions. She found I was beneficial to the team in both defense and midfield. I am confident as I progress through the upcoming seasons I will continue to grow into an even better lacrosse player and become a huge asset to any team I am a part of.
My life goal is to help and heal people physically. I aspire to become a Physical Therapist. I want to use my hands to help individuals of all ages. I know it will be an extremely rewarding career, watching the process and encouraging people will bring me an immense amount of joy.
I also have a passion for performing arts and music. I was lead in two different musical theater performances. Once as Flounder in “The Little Mermaid" and Jasmine in "Aladdin". I love a wide variety of music from The Beatles and Otis Redding to Shawn Mendes and Drake. I am a taught myself to play the piano at a young age. My parents have always encouraged me to find what makes me happy.
