“Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard” …these words spoken to me before the start of a championship game have been my motivation in hockey and in life. I started playing hockey when I was six, and have been blessed to have a single mom who did everything she could to get me as many opportunity to play as possible. In the passed 11 years my hockey career has ranged from mite hockey to high school hockey while participating in summer AAA hockey. Currently I am playing for the Florida Alliance, for my second season. After I graduate high school in May 2022 I will only be 17. The following year I would like to take time to personal grow and also develop as a hockey player. I am willing to play any position and have been pushing myself to be the best teammate I can be. My positivity, integrity, and respect are extended on and off the ice. I’m the girl who cheers on others’ victories, encourages others to be their best, and stays motivated while working hard and using my talents. I look forward with confidence to the challenges that await me in my hockey and academic career. My goal is to play high level collegiate hockey while obtaining my degree starting 2023. “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take (Gretzky)”. I’m ready to take my shot!
