I have always spent my time at the rink because hockey has always been very important to my family. I grew up playing with boys in the AA level. After starting as a player and realizing maybe this position wasn't for me, I tried goalie. The very first game I played as a goalie I got a shutout. In the future years I earned a NIHL state title and placing in the top five the other years all while being the only goalie for my team. I have always played for the same team but when I decided to take my play up to the next level and become serious about playing college hockey, I had to develop more as a leader. My first year as a tier 1 AAA player for the Chicago Fury was tough and I learned that I needed to strengthen myself as a goalie in order to help my team. The development in my skills helps me strive for the success for my team. I am hopeful for great opportunities ahead. Currently, I am playing for The Madison Capitols AAA girls program. This is my second season with the Capitols.
I am looking for a program that will help me develop athletically and academically and I believe that I have the skills, leadership, and work-ethic that it takes at the college level. I am ready to show my teamwork, sacrifice, and commitment. I hope to move to the next level and become a great asset to your team.
