Personal Statement

Hi,

I’m excited to enter my senior year and then play at Williams College starting in the fall of 2022!

Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me as a person. I'm striving for a mixture of great academics and competitive hockey in my future. Some of my key attributes are below - I feel that I am a strong candidate for collegiate level women's ice hockey and I hope you will agree.

Strong athlete - Last season I played in a AAA Tier 1 U19 league as a 15 year old. After facing over 960 shots in 35 games, I finished the season with a save percentage of 0.927, 6 shutouts and a GAA of 2.03.
Strong student - currently enrolled in AP and Honors classes and carrying 4.2 GPA
Global experience - I lived and played hockey overseas for 5 1/2 years, so I am comfortable with and understanding of other people's cultures and beliefs.
Hard worker - I strive to be the best I can be in whatever I'm working on.
Good teammate - have played on both boys and girls teams, and with older teammates.
Involved - participate in sports and volunteer opportunities in school, church and the community.
I love hockey! I started on the ice before I was two years old.
