Hi, my name is Megan Buesching! I am an extremely enthusiastic player and person. I enjoy cheering my teammates on and off the ice and keeping an energetic environment. Furthermore, this season I was named Assistant Captain because of my energy and leadership skills. When it comes to my on ice skills, I have an amazing hockey IQ and exceptional passing skills. Besides practice I am continuously working to better myself with my private skills coaches on and off the ice.
In addition to hockey, I also excel in the classroom. Currently I am in 2 AP classes and 1 honors class and I have a 3.83 GPA. During college I intend to take Pre-Med classes and graduate with a biology or chemistry degree. In school I am a part of The National Honors Society, other clubs including TLS (helping kids with special needs) and Science Club. Outside of school I am a part of a charity called the Greg Holthaus Memorial Fund. We are a nonprofit organization that raises money for kids under 18 to get their hearts screened for abnormalities and we save lives by doing so.
One thing that makes me different is I am a selfless player, always caring as much about the team as I am myself.
