Personal Statement
Hi, my name is Aurora Short I am a 15 year old who plays both girls and co ed. I play on Jr Black Bears 16u AA girls as well as both of my high schools teams,St Marys Ryken. I am currently a sophomore, but I have been a varsity starter on both teams since my freshman year. The school that I attend is on a prep school level and i am comfortable with managing school work and hockey making time for both everyday. I think i would be a good fit to play college hockey because every practice no matter how long I'm on the ice i am always striving to push myself and my teammates. One thing i always tell myself is two more strides, no matter how tired I am i know i can push myself to take two more strides. last summer (2023) I participated in HeartLand hockey camps girls week with Hannah Brant. I also attended Shattuck St Marys 19u camp.
