The best line to describe my playing would be something my mom overheard another parent say while sitting in the stands watching a game of mine this year "I love watching Caity play, she think she was born a boy and plays just like one".
I have played with the boys since I was 6 years old... up until high school I played boys' ice hockey and boys' baseball. My mom knew I would not play on any girls' teams unless I could play on the boys' team too or just on the boys' team.
So I learned to stand up for myself on and off the ice and always earned the grudgingly respect of the boys on any team I played on since I was usually the best or second best player and I was always the FASTEST.
... Always the FASTEST
My high school coach always tells me that I am likely the fastest girl hockey player in our conference and the fastest on our team.... my friends compare me to the Roadrunner in the cartoons on TV. I am always the fastest... in ice hockey, in field hockey, in lacrosse and when running for the fastest time. You will be hard pressed to find someone faster.
