Personal Statement
My name is Maeve Carey and I love the game of hockey. One of my most important goals that I have set for myself is to play college hockey, in addition to receiving a very good education. Currently I am in the eighth grade at Austin Prep in Reading, Ma where I take a regular shift playing defense for the Girls Division 1 hockey team. I have been mainting a 4.0 grade point average at Austin Prep during my first year. I want to play for a very competitive college hockey program that has a coach who loves teaching his/her players to continue to develop into better players. I know that wherever I end up playing my college hockey, the coach will be very happy with my work ethic and my leadership skills.
