Personal Statement

One of my goals is to put myself in the best possible possition to gain a great education while playing competitive college hockey.  I am a well rounded person, as my grades, extracurricular activities and athletics can prove.  I have taken part in numerous showcase hockey tournements and been a strong competitor at USA Hockey Atlantic District Camp which has allowed me to compete against the best and showcase my own skill in what I find to be skilled, fast and fun competition. This level of play pushes me and motivaes me, which leads to my reputations as a player with a great engine.  Coaches have always told me that I am a very aware and smart on-ice athelete and a hardworking player.  I am known to cover a lot of the ice and take away time and space from my competition.  I have experience playing  both offense and defense and while I prefer offense I will happily contribute to anywhere my coach asks me to play as I trust my coaches to put our team in the best position to win.  I will never give up on any play, and will work my hardest to get to any puck. I am a very supportive teamate, and a coachable athlete.  You will find me to be a quiet yet confident player that demostrates my ability through my play more than through my vocabulary.   I will be able to step up in key situations in the game, on the kill or on the power play as I do on my current team as I am a dependable player.  In the future I hope my hard work and dedication allows me to play competitive college hockey and get a great college education in parallel which will enable me to contribue to society post graduation.

Club Information

  • Seasons of Club Experience
  • 8 seasons
  • 2020 Bay State Breakers U16 (Tier II)
  • Finished 6th ranked national team with 16-8-4 record on the season. This season with the Breakers I had 11 goals and 10 assists.
  • 2019 Bay State Breakers
  • Began the year playing for Ironbound Elite (Tier 1) and joined Bay State Breakers following a family move to MA where our move happened at the same time as the start of the Breakers season. Bay State made space for me on their Tier 2 as a new person coming to the program despite coming from Tier 1 as they wanted to assess me. So despite it being a "major year" for birth, I was placed on a "minor team" to get introduced to the club. Hope to earn my way up for next year as I led my team this year in points, scoring and assists. Continued to play Tier 1 Girls hockey with Ironbound in parallel during transition where I was their top line center.
  • 2019 Ironbound Elite 14U (NJ)/ Bay State Breakers (Major Tier 1 (U14)/ Tier 2 (U14))
  • Atlantic District regional camp, USA hockey hat trick award, NAPS (North American Prospects Showcase) invitation, Neutral Zone recognition for performance in Fire and Ice tournament, RUSH college showcase, scouted by multiple prep schools after Prep School Showcase (Hoosac, Philips Exeter, Exeter Andover) and had multiple coaches interested but I chose not to go prep and stay local.
  • 2018 Ironbound Elite 14U (NJ)/ Montclair Blues (Major Tier 1 (U14)/ Bantam B boys)
  • Atlantic District regional USA hockey camp, USA hockey playmaker award, second leading goal scorer for Ironbound

By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
