I have played hockey ever since I was 6 years old and still love it to this day. When my skates hit that ice I immediately light up, it's almost like all of the joy inside of me is being released throughout my body. Last year I was honored to become the captain of my 14u tier III hockey team, we were league champions and finished second in the state. It was difficult to leave them due to aging out but I was out of options. I ended up trying out for a 19u tier II girls team 2018-19, and I made it! It was a huge step for me advancing to an upper-level travel team, along with the 4 year age difference. I am glad to say that I have made all new friends on the team and proud that I'm starting in the games. It was with great joy that I was elected Assistant Captain during my second season with the team '19-20 by my teammates.
I have been surrounded by hockey for so long that people know me as "that one girl who plays hockey", and I'm totally fine with that! Playing hockey in college would be fantastic, and a true accomplishment for me.
Education is a big priority in my life and over the years I have kept a steady GPA average of 3.90 - 4.0. I never procrastinate with my school work, and its always done on time.
It would be an honor to play college hockey and I am looking forward to the challenge!
