Isabella Brama '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a strong, shutdown defender with very high hockey IQ, who was recently elected a captain of the top-ranked Academy of Holy Angels, MN Varsity team. In my third year playing Varsity hockey (2021-2022), I was +23 and did not allow a goal in the first 7 games of the season.  In 2021 my Premier Prep team won a USA Hockey national championship. I also previously played on the 2020 MN High School Girls Hockey State Championship team (Class A).  I listen carefully to coaches, learn quickly, work very hard, love my teammates, and really love to play.  My goal is to continue playing competitive hockey during college, growing my hockey skills, leadership abilities, and friendships made on and off the ice.

I am also a successful student, taking multiple AP classes and working toward a STEM diploma. I am interested in medicine and biological sciences, and this summer attended a camp on Psychology and Neuroscience at American University.  In 2022, I also won Congressional recognition for an original piece of artwork I drew and painted during quarantine.
