Hockey has always been a large part of my life. I watched my older brother play when I was young, and since I looked up to him so much, I wanted to do whatever he did. I started playing hockey when I was six. Since I've played for twelve years now, it's safe to say that it has shaped who I am today. Hockey taught (and continues to teach me) assertiveness, patience, the importance of a positive mindset, and the necessity of hard work on and off the ice. I currently play for the St. Louis Lady Cyclones U19 and am the captain. I'm a hard worker, determined, and optimistic. I want to improve myself as a hockey player, student, and person. I currently attend Ursuline Academy (An all girls, Catholic, college preparatory school) and am a senior. Being enrolled in this school, I have to keep my grades up to a high standard. I do my best to excel in both the classroom and on the ice. I want to continue my education and hockey career.
