I’m Kennedy Olson, i’ve only played for two years currently but Im a hard worker, when I put my mind to something I don’t quit, I go until I reach my goal, and I will go farther if possible. I always take chances, even if that means not being the best. I love playing hockey, and I try practicing it everyday. I acknowledge and work on my abilities that I lack in. I started late in hockey but I’m im pushing myself to be great, I try my best, and I’m im working on allowing myself to fail, and learning on my errors. I think allowing myself to fail will allow myself to succeed, and I think thats what could make me better than some. I don’t think many people would find the courage in themselves to start late In this sport, even fewer playing for the opposite gender. It is difficult playing with boys as well, but I don’t allow that to get in the way. I see it as a challenge and a way to grow. I like to think outside the box, and see things in different ways. Even though I have much to work on, I will change the hockey skills I struggle with, and be the best hockey player I can. Even though it wont come with a snap of a finger, I will become the best hockey player I can make of myself, with the help of others. I’m a Kind person with much patience. I am also willing to take advice from others, and be there for my teammates. I have strength and courage, and that has allowed me to put myself out there and try new things. I don’t like to give up with any means necessary. Even though i’m new, I push myself in many ways, I started hockey at my lowest point in life, but I’ve since grown, I try hard in school and put much focus into succeeding in class too. I do manage to balance work, and other sports along with school. Even though theres a lot on my plate, I will always make room for hockey.
