Gabrielle McCrory '20 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I'm Gabrielle McCrory. I’m currently a junior at Frederick Law Olmsted #156. I play left defenseman for the Cazenovia Lady Chiefs in Buffalo NY. 

I've scored a hat-trick in a game qualifying for states. I play as a "stay at home" defenseman, where I focus on defending the goalie and our zone first. But if a chance comes for me to carry the puck, I will gladly take it. I'm a strong and smart player. I'll admit I make mistakes sometimes, but it's these mistakes that I take and build upon myself to improve my skills. 

In school I've been in high honors all freshman and sophomore year. My goal is to graduate as a member of the NHS, and have a regions diploma in science.  

Besides hockey, I also swim for my school's varsity swim team. And I have recently received my 2nd degree black belt in tae-Kwon do.

I hope to be studying a form of art. As I found a love for story writing and drawing when I received a first and second place ribbon for a drawing and painting I entered in my county fair.
