Hi my name is Elizabeth Kent and I have played ice hockey since I was 5 years old. I played for the Rochester Edge for the past 4 years and now play with the Rome Grizzlies Tier 1 Girls. In addition to ice hockey, I also play midfield on my high school varsity field hockey team and played travel soccer for many years.
I've loved hockey ever since I put on my first pair of skates and that desire to prepare, compete and do whatever I can for my team is very strong. I hope to continue to play when I enroll in college in 2024. I have met so many amazing people, built memories that will never fade and have made friendships I hope will last a lifetime. Hockey has not only been a team but an extended family for me and I wouldn’t trade that for the world.
I have often juggled multiple sports and a heavy school workload and was able to manage it successfully which makes me think I would be able to handle to rigors of college school work (I would like to study Biology or Pre-Med) along with the commitments of being a student athlete.
