Personal Statement
I would be an asset to your team because I'm dedicated, hard-working, and a team player. I have been playing hockey since I was five and love every aspect of the sport.
Some activities and clubs that I volunteer in my spare time are listed below:
- Vacation Bible school -2 weeks every summer (over 100 hours per year) takes care of kids ages 3-12 while learning about the Bible by singing and playing games (counselor for four years)
- Just for kicks - Soccer and social skills to children with Autism (helper for three years)
- Best Buddies- Multiple sports set up for children with various special needs with the Girls Leaders Club (the first year doing this)
- SADD club - help educate students to stay away from bad decisions (three years)
