I began hockey when there was an opportunity to skate in my home town. My uncle played at Cornell so my family had some experience with hockey, and he's inspired me to work to play at the college level. Over the course of my hockey career I've won states with my 14u AAA team and were the first girls team from Syracuse to win a game in Nationals. I feel like losing in states last year with my 17u AAA team helped me become a more determined player. I'm hoping to attend the best school I can in terms of academics, and hopefully continue with my education after college. I love to and am very willing to learn both on and off the ice, and am willing to work as hard as I can to excel. For the past three years I have driven over an hour one way to practice and games, so if I play in college a close rink would be a relief!
