Personal Statement

As hockey player and as a person, I am a team player. I actively listen to feedback on and off the ice and am always seeking to improve my hockey skills and sense. I am very coachable and love my role as power forward. I score goals yet also create many offensive plays. My size, stickhandling skills along with my shot are what makes me the player I am.  I always support others in both the good and tough times and contribute to the team. Besides playing junior hockey, I have also played in international and national women’s teams since 14 years old in different leagues, showcases and countries, which has been fantastic for my development.  I am currently living far away from home in America to further my hockey dreams.

Academically, I always strive for top results. I am a very capable student, always finishing my assignments on time and receiving top marks in tests due to my disciplined preparation. My teachers, coaches, and peers have always told me that I am a positive, dedicated, hard-working, earnest, and friendly character.

My goal is to be one of the few Australian women hockey players to play in the NCAA league and to obtain a great US college education.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
