My collegiate goal is to major in criminology and minor in education and participate in a ROTC program if offered, and play the sport that I love, volleyball. I have been playing on my schools varsity volleyball team since I was 12 (7th grade), and was a starting setter my 8th grade year. Being on such an advanced level at such a young age showed me how to be a true leader. Ever since then, I would always help lead my team and be the best teammate that I could be. I started playing club my 9th grade year. My main position is setter, but I have been training for all positions so I can be more versatile and able to learn more about the game and understand each position. Although volleyball is one of my main priorities, education is first. Education is the most important thing for me, so I work equally or even harder in the classroom than on the court, I have a 3.8 GPA and take most honors and AP's. I always challenge myself to be a better all around person, on and off the court, and in and out of the classroom. I believe that hard work and dedication isn't just about how much time you spend on the court, its also about how much effort you put in your schooling.
