I got interest in hockey almost out of nowhere since i am the only person in my family to play the sport. I was however influenced by my dad who is just a fan of the sport and after talking about it so much i received skating lessons from my Grandma that next Christmas. I've lived on long island my whole life, only playing for one organization that hadn't had a lot of success, so making my districts development camp for the first time in 2018 was one of the most influential moments of my career. I learned so much at that camp not only in getting better at hockey but in being a better person as well. Also through playing hockey i have learned that i have a competitive edge that is with me no matter what i do, that while i can keep my emotions in check i have passion that is unmatched by anyone else, and i also believe that i have leadership qualities that are hard to find and for those reasons i would be a good fit for your program. Academics are also very important to me, i am looking for a school where i can play hockey while also getting good education and in the end graduating with a great life experience to further improve myself as a person.
