How I got into playing was my dad actually planted the idea in my head when I was newly five years old when he saw an ad in the paper for a small Binghamton team who needed new players so I showed up. When I first got out on the ice it was hard but every time I went to practices I fell more in love with the sport and I had so much fun at my first game and I wanted to keep going. What kept me doing hockey is the fact that I felt like this was what I was meant to do this is what I'm good at and it makes me feel like myself. Hockey has helped me in a number of ways, it makes me feel wanted for something and it makes me feel like I have a purpose. I love to work with other people and that's a reason I like to play I get to meet many people who share the same passion for the sport as much as me. I love hockey and I hope I can continue on in the future of this sport.
