Hi, my name is Jade Ayles, I am a 2009 (class of 2027) goaltender. I have been playing hockey for as long as I can remember. My role model is Carey Price and i've based my playing style after him, by being calm, collected, and not letting a goal get in my head.
I'm a confident goalie, who is willing to put in the work to play the highest level. In addition to my team goalie coaches, I've been going to the same goalie coach since I was 11 and I really enjoy every aspect of this position.
I am a very quiet goalie and person, but on the ice I will let my teamates know if I need something done. I can see the entire ice so I feel like it's my job to run the game in my end. I've never been afraid to try new things and experiment with different things to see if it's effective for me. I am a visual learner and can make corrections with video or physical representaion.
I've made so many friendships from this sport, and it's taught me many lessons that other sports could never have taught me. I enjoy all sports, and I'm very interested in learning more about sports management and media and business.
I will continue to work hard to meet my goal of playing hockey post secondary.
