I have two passions, hockey and a desire to become an Emergency Department Nurse. My focus is to pursue the balance of both at University.
My name is Victoria McGarrity. I am in the graduating class of 2020 (DOB 1/31/2002) at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic High School, in Oakville Ontario. I am an intense three zone, positionally sound Centre. I believe my game to be built on a combination of speed, proper attack angles and effective use of my body and stick. As a center I am used on our team’s power play, penalty kill and as expected 5 on 5 play. In addition, I am known as a tenacious player who strives to improve in all aspects of my game. I wear jersey number 23.
To further reinforce my interest in playing university/ college hockey I attended the NCD Development camp (July 30- August 2nd 2018), in Boston, immediately following my participation in the Beantown Classic (July 26th – July 29th 2018). I will be attending both again in the summer of 2019. In addition, I will be attending the Rush College Showcase in June 13th -16th, 2019 weekend in Brampton Ontario.
If you have any questions regarding my play, please feel free to speak directly to my coach Tracey Cameron. He can be reached at [email protected]. You can also reach me on my cell phone at 905-617-8703. The North Halton Twister Midget AA YouTube channel is open for viewing; https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCx3D7nFxrPhNvSn2ivcp1Bg.
Thank you for your kind consideration,
Victoria McGarrity
