I have solid hockey skills that I have perfected over the past 12 years that will allow me to compete at the next level of hockey in University. I have a very high hockey IQ and have an exceptional sense for the game. I create time for myself without the puck as well as making great plays with the puck. I can also be trusted to make excellent plays while under pressure. I will do anything to win a race to the puck or to win a battle. I work as hard as I do in the third period as I do in the first period. I will block shots at any time and will back check even when it looks like there is no way I will catch up to the play. I am always ready to learn new things and am still in the process of becoming a better player. I am always looking for things to do better on and off the ice and with more ice time, training and high level coaching i will reach my full potential. Off the ice is a huge part to my success as a player. I train off the ice 3-4 times a week and am 100% committed to my growth as a hockey player. My commitment to hockey also carries over to my academics. My success in school is also very important to me and is something I constantly am focused on improving. In the near future I will be taking my SATs or ACTs to have my results ready for any schools that are interested.
