My goal is to play hockey at the NCAA level. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to attend an amazing school to study and play hockey while earning my undergraduate degree. Once I have completed my masters degree, my plan is to attend law school. I am an extremely hard working student with a high academic drive. I am a very outgoing person who leads by example and works well with others.
I am a complete athlete. Along with playing hockey, I run, box and lift weights. My usual run distance is 5 km. I place very high importance on my physical fitness and strength training. I work very hard and train with my skating, skills and shooting coaches during the season and in the summer. While playing hockey I invite and accept feedback from coaches and apply that feedback to improve my play. I am a good teammate and am respectful of coaches, teammates, opponents and officials. One of the most important lessons that I have learned is that the best teams are the ones who play for each other, not themselves. This is the type of team I would love to be a part of in my post secondary career.
