My name is Savannah Joseph (02) and I am a goalie. My current graduation year is 2021 but being home-schooled I have the flexibility of graduating in 2022 if I found a school that was a fit and in need of a goaltender.
If you feel your school may need a goaltender, I would appreciate if you would review my profile.
Current Team: The past 2 seasons I’ve played hockey for the Cumberland High School Boys Team. Last year, I was the back up to the senior, this year I was the starter. To my knowledge, I was the only female playing D1 boys’ hockey in the state. I have played on a boys’ team my entire hockey career.
Schooling: I have been home-schooled since 5th grade. I currently attend Acellus Academy online and am working on my NCAA courses. My GPA is a 3.5.
Personal: I have worked at a horse farm since I was about 10. Currently, I work 30 hours a week at the New England Humane Society Animal Care Facility. I am the Animal Care Manager. I am a lover of all animals, big and small and animal welfare is extremely important to me.
I love hockey as much as I love animals! Hockey is not just a sport or something I play; it is a part of who I am. I honestly cannot even imagine my life without hockey.
Career: I know that I will have a career in animal welfare. My goal is to get an internship with the Humane Society of the United States or Best Friends Animal Rescue while attending college and learn more about the field.
