Personal Statement

I am a strong, quick-thinking, fast defensemen. I love to rush the puck, but when I need to stay defensive I will. I love playing a fast pace game and proper execution with the puck. I am very heads-up, fast,  aggressive and has a good eye for the net when shooting and this is what makes me stand out from others. I am a very coachable player, and I love to get feedback to make myself a better player.

I have been a natural, competitive athlete for as long as I can remember.  In Grade 6, I represented the West Central Canada-USA region at the Hershey North American track meeting in Hershey, PA, placing 4th in the 60 m sprint final.  In Grade 8, I was a finalist in City-level cross country running.  In Grade 9, I made it onto the senior girls volleyball team and played the full year for Marion Graham Collegiate.  I started playing hockey when I was 5 years old, and over time have focused on this sport as one that I enjoy the most and have had success at.
