Hello my name is Sarah Ismail. Currently I am 14 years old and I go to Lightridge High School. I play for the teams Washington Pride, Reston Raiders and Lightridge High School Hockey Team. I first started getting into hockey when I saw my brother play. I started to play when I was about four years old. The first time I ever stepped onto the ice, I knew I wanted to do this for the rest of my life. I fell in love with how competitive the sport is and the challenges that occur with the sport, but soon enough when I turned six years old that love grew even more when I started to play goalie. However when I'm not at the rink I love to workout, hang out with my friends/family, volunteer, sing and try new things.
In school I average all A's and sometimes a B here and there. Currently I have twenty-one hours and fifteen minutes of volunteer hours which are mainly from school clubs. The clubs that I am involved in are Key, Club, Red Cross Club and Pediatric Care Club. In the future I would love to be a coroner or a sports psychologist. I would also love to continue to play hockey in college. As I progress in hockey in college, I would love to play in the Olympics or play in the PWHL.
