Personal Statement

Hello,
My name is Anika Einbeck, I have been playing ice hockey since I was 3 years old. From the first time I stepped out on the ice I knew this was the place for me. Since then, I have played on many competitive hockey teams including Team Wisconsin (Tier 1 AAA), Wisconsin Jr. Stars, Madison Capitols, and Jr. Outlaws. Throughout my youth hockey experience I played three years of Atoms,  three years of Mites (A), two years of Peewees (A), and two years of Bantams (A) while double rostering on a girls team. Of my 10 years of youth hockey, I competed at state 5 times and at every new opportunity of achieving a state title, my drive for success has only increased. On top of playing youth hockey, I also participated in dance, gymnastics, softball, swim team, track, cross country, and soccer. I strongly believe playing a wide variety of sports has helped me become a well-rounded athlete and successful leader whether it's on the ice, the field, the course, or the classroom.

In my free time, I enjoy volunteering at our local hospital and nursing home. I also participate in Student Senate, National Honor Society, Key Club, Earth Club, FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America), MSALT (Monroe Student Athletic Leadership Team), Link Crew, Yoga Club, and the Prom Committee at Monroe High School. I am the current Publicist for Student Senate, secretary for Key Club, service committee chair for Earth Club, president for National Honor Society, and one of the founders of Yoga Club.

In the future, my goal is to attend a four year college that pushes me not only academically and socially, but on the ice as a collegiate hockey player.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
