Maggie Cowden '20 Recruiting Profile

I am working to prepare myself to play college hockey.  I have been named team MVP my first 3 years of high school as voted by my teammates.  I try to be a leader in the locker room and on the ice everyday and pride myself on being a great team member to everyone. 

I was named 1st team all-state my Junior year and 2nd team all-state my Sophomore year as voted on by the Wisconsin State High School Coaches.  I have been a finalist for the Jessie Vetter award both my Sophomore and Junior years.

I work with Larry Clemens at High Performance Goaltending in the summer and I am currently doing off-ice training at D1 to better prepare myself when I am on the ice. 

I currently have a 3.8 GPA and have taken AP History.  I pride myself on coordinating my academic schedule with my busy athletic and personal schedule.  I am currently looking to possibly go into the science fields when I go to college.

I spend my summers playing hockey and participating in rodeo.  I also volunteer at a local adult daycare working with adults special needs members.  I enjoy giving back to the members and helping them throughout their day.
